SUMMER TERM SUCCESSES

Marshfield Primary School became the top school in Newport when they won three of the four titles in the Newport Primary School's Athletics Championship, held on the 20th June. Grateful thanks are extended to Miss Lawrence and Mr. Edwards for training the team.

An Ecology Week was held between the30th June and the 4th July. Children across the school designed and made a variety of products from recycled materials. The event culminated in an afternoon sale of the products which raised the tremendous sum of £760.82.

Well done to all the staff and pupils for their efforts during the week particularly Mrs. Brustad, Miss Mithan and Miss Parsons.

Success again in the Newport Primary School's Swimming Gala which took place on the 10th July 2008. Marshfield gained 1st Place with outstanding swimming by all the children.
